Goa
Goa, the smallest state of India is known for its exotic beaches with amazing sunset view, golden sand and coconut palms playing with the wind. If having a great time with a dear one is on your mind, Goa is the perfect place for togetherness. Tasty seafood, parasailing, wind surfing and water-skiing facilities make the beaches of Goa a core fun place. Alorna Fort, Ancestral Goa Museum, Arvalam Waterfalls, Chapora Fort and Calangute beach are some of the popular destinations in Goa.
The Paradise on Earth, Kashmir's major attraction

INDIA
India, officially the Republic of India (IAST: Bhārat Gaṇarājya),[20][21][c] is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country (with over 1.2 billion people), and the most populous democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the south-west, and the Bay of Bengal on the south-east, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west;[d] China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north-east; and Myanmar (Burma) and Bangladesh to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka and the Maldives; in addition, India's Andaman and Nicobar Islandsshare a maritime border with Thailand and Indonesia.
JAMAICA
is an island country situated in the Caribbean Sea, consisting of the third-largest island of the Greater Antilles. The island, 10,990 square kilometres (4,240 sq mi) in area, lies about 145 kilometres (90 mi) south of Cuba, and 191 kilometres (119 mi) west of Hispaniola, the island containing the nation-states of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Jamaica is the fourth-largest island country in the Caribbean.[6]
Previously inhabited by the indigenous Arawak and Taíno peoples, the island came under Spanish rule following the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1494. Named Santiago, it remained a possession of Spain until 1655, when England (later Great Britain) conquered the island and renamed it Jamaica. Under British rule, Jamaica became a leading sugar exporter, with its plantation economy highly dependent on slaves imported from Africa, followed later by Chinese and Indian indentured labour. All slaves were fully emancipated in 1838, and independence from the United Kingdom was achieved on 6 August 1962.

Grado

Los
estudiantes representarán un baile típico de Irlanda llamado Polka, antes de
comenzar, se dará una breve descripción de lo que es el baile y lo que
significa en la tradición irlandesa. (18 estudiantes)
Presenters: Santiago
Giraldo: Hello…
everybody. We are sixth grade. We are here in Ireland, I would like to tell you
the best things about this Country but the whole night won’t be enough.
(Mirando al público)… In this moment, I want to introduce some of my friends
who are Hurling players,if you dont know, the hurling is the tipical ireland
sport. I know you all love sports…And With you!... Camilo and his team!
Hurling
Camilo: Hurling is the national Irish sport,
this is a mixture of some other sports but played in an unique way, its
playground is similar to the American Football but we do not need a big ball to
play it, we just need a small ball (muestra el sliotar). And a helmet to
protect our head from hits or accidents. (Muestra el casco el caso)
Muvdi: The objective of the game is to use a wooden stick called a hurley (muestra el hurley) and hit a small ball called a sliotar (vuelve
a mostrar el sliotar) between the opponents' goalposts either over the crossbar for one point,
or under the crossbar into a net guarded by a goalkeeper for one goal, which is equivalent to three
points…My buddy Juanse will contibue telling you about it.
Annicchiarico: The sliotar can be caught in the hand and carried
for not more than four steps, struck in the air, or struck on the ground with
the hurley. It can be kicked or slapped with an open hand (the hand pass) for
short-range passing. A player who wants to carry the ball for more than four
steps has to bounce or balance the sliotar on the end of the stick and the ball
can only be handled twice while in his possession.
Se tiran un partidito de
Hurling
Alfonso: So cool! I want to play Hurling some
day. Don’t you, Santiago?
Santiago: Oh sure! Now… More sports, my friend Natalia and her team partners Sofía
are going to talk to us about Gaelic Football…
Natalia: Gaelic football, is an Irish team
sport. It is a form
of football derived from traditional
Irish ball games. It is
played between two teams of 15 players on a rectangular grass pitch. The
objective of the sport is to score by passing the ball(Muestra el balón) through the other team's goals (3 points) or a set of two upright posts
separated by a crossbar 2.5 metres above
the ground (1 point)
Sofía: Gaelic football is one of four sports (referred
to "Gaelic games") controlled by the Gaelic Athletic Association(GAA), the largest sporting organisation in Ireland. Along
with hurling and camogie, Gaelic football is one of the few remaining strictly
amateur sports in the world, can`t get any form of payment.
Santiago: So great! We have seen many great
things about Ireland but it has not been all, Today we are also going to show
you a tipical irish dance called Polka, this is one of the most representatives
dances in this country, also, it has many other dances because not only polka
you can listen to there, yoy may also listen to very known kinds of music but
this time we offer this great dance, hope you enjoy the Irish Polka.
Alfonso: Hey Santiago, let me tell everybody a Little bit about influences in Irish
Music.
Santiago: Right Away!
Alfonso: The indigenous music of the island is termed Irish traditional music. It has remained vibrant through the 20th, and
into the 21st century, despite globalising cultural forces. In spite of
emigration and a well-developed connection to music influences from Britain and
the United States, Irish music has kept many of its traditional aspects and has
itself influenced many forms of music, such as country and roots music in the
USA.
Introduction
to Polka
José Ángel: Alright my friends. I Would also like
to say to this beautiful audience that Polka is not only danced in Ireland but
also in some other countries but The Irish one has something special, the
movements are so soft and coordinated, the dancers show their passion dancing,
the joy of the dance with every movement, but no more words, Let’s see this
great dance, (gritando) with you… The Polka!

My talkative students, hope you're really fine... this time we will be working on...
CAN for ability and permission
Can: Ability and Permission
- We use can to talk about ability. The negative of can is cannot (contraction: can’t).
Can you swim?
He can play the guitar.
I can’t open this bottle.
Can you meet me tomorrow morning?
He can play the guitar.
I can’t open this bottle.
Can you meet me tomorrow morning?
- We can use can to ask for permission (we also can use may and could).
Can I borrow your dictionary?
Can I use your pen?
Can I ask you a personal question?
Can I use your pen?
Can I ask you a personal question?
Could is less direct and more polite than can. May is more formal (and some people think it is more ‘correct’) than can or could, but can and could are more common.
- When we talk about things that are already permitted or not permitted (e.g. when there is a rule or a law), we use can / can’t (we may aslo use be (not) allowed).
You can’t smoke in this room. (You aren’t allowed to smoke in this room).
You can get married in Great Britain when you are 16. (That’s the law)
The children can go to bed at 9 o’clock, but they can stay up later on Saturdays. (The parents have decided this)
